We continue the success of the ten previous Nordic conferences on plasma spectrochemistry, all held in Loen, Norway.
The Analytical Section of the Norwegian Chemical Society (NKS) welcomes scientists and users of science to this 11th Nordic Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry and sincerely hope that you will respond positively to this invitation and call for papers.
By contrast to other plasma spectrochemistry meetings, the FREE short courses (about 2 hours duration) will be offered to all participants during the five days meeting and may be very attractive to participants to learn about and to be updated on plasma spectrochemistry. The short courses are meant to stimulate users of plasma-based techniques to learn more about theoretical and practical issues as well as obtain specialists recommendations for methods improvements. Thus, these short courses are also a unique opportunity for laboratory engineers to be updated.
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge about recent developments and state-of-the-art knowledge in main areas of plasma spectrochemistry. The conference will bring together international participants experienced in fundamental aspects, instrumentation and applications to examine recent progress in this continuing growing field; approximately 130 participants are expected to attend. Please inform your colleagues about this opportunity to share and discuss their recent experiences and to be scientifically updated. We look forward to your attendance at and participation in this scientific event. We promise to do our utmost to host you all in a typical Norwegian informal scientific environment.
The 11th Nordic Plasma conference will be organized June 9-13, 2024 in Loen
