Guided walk to Bødal Glacier - NOK 150 (Cancelled)
The Bødal Glacier tour in Loen valley offers you an easy but genuine guided walking experience in beautiful West Norwegian surroundings. Sunday at 14:00 a minibus takes you to the Bødal mountain farm 500 m above sea level. The tour to the glacier is an easy walk on a nice path of approx. 1 hour each way. The bus takes you back at Bødal at approx. 17:30 and to the hotel at 18:00. Max 20 persons. The Bødal Valley, with the Bødalseter summer pasture farms and the Bødal Glacier, is one of the gems of the Jostedalsbreen National Park. We will also have a stopover at the memorial site for the catastrophic tsunamis at Bødal in 1905 and 1936. 2 villages were wiped out by the waves formed when the Raven-mountain fall into the lake, leaving 134 dead. Take a rucksack, jacket/clothes for occasional rain and wind, good walking shoes, food and drink as you desire for a halfday tour.

Those who want to challenge the Norwegian mountains are offered a guided walk after lunch to the Klaumann Tower at Skåla Mountain.
Loen Skylift
Loen Skylift is one of the steep courses in the world and lifts you from the fjord in Loen to the mountain Hoven (1011 m above sea level) in five minutes. At the top is Hoven Restaurant. Hoven is a year-round nature-based experience arena also adapted for active explorers.
Via Ferrata Loen
Via Ferrata Loen is a climbing path secured with wire right behind Hotel Alexandra. The climbing trail takes you to the top of Hoven at 1011 meters above sea level, with a phenomenal view of Loen and Olden Vally. As part of the route you can cross Gjølmunn Bridge, the longest Via Ferrata bridge in Europe. The bridge is located 750 meters above sea level, is 120 meters long. The trip will definitely make you “butter-flies” in the stomach. If you are ready for a real challenge, you can climb the new extreme routes Tors Hammar and "Ragnarok" - the toughest Via Ferrata route in Norway. Return by Loen Skylift or on foot via construction road to Holme (7 km) at Oppheim back to Loen (total 12 km).
Boat tour at Loen Lake - NOK 450
The MS Kjenndal II takes you on a trip from Sande at the lower end of the Loen Lake to
Kjenndalsanden, where Kjenndalstova is located. A one-hour stop allows for a walk or you
can enjoy delicious waffles and hot coffee before the boat returns to Sande. The trip
takes around 4 hours.

annually, to experience the uniqueness it has to offer. When you stand at the end of Loen

You are invited to visit the heart of Norway - an Unforgettable trip to the Briksdal Glacier. Participants can enjoy a walk to view the enormous cascade of ice, and afterwards there will be an outdoor barbeque at "Kleivane" (weather permitting - otherwise the grill party will be held at Briksdalen Inn).
On the west coast of Norway the climate in June is pleasant with an average temperature maximum temperature of 20°C.
Light clothing with a sweater and raincoat for an occasional and rainy evening are recommended. For the excursions, you are advised to bring warm clothing and suitable walking shoes.
