The conference venue will be Hotel Alexandra located in the most beautiful Fjord and Glacier Districts of Norway. The hotel is recognised as one of the best conference venues in Norway. We can guarantee that participants will not quickly forget the extraordinary beauty & hospitality of this region. The participants are expected to arrive at the hotel Saturday, June 8, and to travel home, either Thursday, June 13 after lunch or Friday, June 14 morning.
Rooms have been reserved by the conference at Hotel Alexandra and participants make their required room reservation during registration. Hotel Alexandra in Loen, surrounded by fjords, lakes, glaciers, mountains and waterfalls is one of the most sought after hotels in Norway. We strongly urge you to bring your partner or family.
The prices for a single and double room are NOK 2870 and NOK 2670, respectively (per person per night). The cost for lodging includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Persons reserving accommodation are themselves liable. If you need to cancel your hotel reservation on a short notice, you are strongly advised to notify the Secretariat at least one week in advance.

On the west coast of Norway the climate in June is pleasant with an average temperature maximum temperature of 20°C.
Light clothing with a sweater and raincoat for an occasional and rainy evening are recommended. For the excursions, you are advised to bring warm clothing and suitable walking shoes.
